SHARING OUR WISDOM

Professional development for the women who lead smaller credit unions

Empower yourself and your credit union with CUWLA’s professional development opportunities. Whether you’re already a CEO or working towards your first top role, our workshops, webinars, and proprietary resources are designed specifically to enhance your skills and advance your career in the credit union system.

Two women CEOs sit in deep conversation.
LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER

Safe, candid conversations

Every month, CEOs and CUWLA Rise members have the opportunity to engage in candid, open discussions about the current challenges they’re facing, and learn from one another during hour-long virtual sessions.

These facilitated meet and greets are a unique opportunity to be vulnerable about your knowledge gaps, and share your knowledge strengths.

There are unique sessions for CEOs and CUWLA Rise members, but both are absolutely safe spaces for open, judgement-free learning.

CURATED EVENTS

Unique learning opportunities

CUWLA was developed to provide support, guidance, and education specifically for the women who predominantly run smaller and growing credit unions.

While no two credit unions (or leaders) are the same, there are similar challenges in terms of resources, time, work/life balance across our CEO cohort. That’s why we curate unique learning events and presentations specifically to address issues we know our CEO members face.

QUARTERLY LEARNING

Power Hours

Every quarter, CUWLA CEOs are invited to a Power Hour. These free calls bring insights and expertise from across the credit union system to our network of women CEOs.

Explore new innovative ideas, discuss credit union challenges and solutions, and connect with other members.

QUARTERLY LEARNING

Power Hours

Past sessions have focused on:

  • Building a culture of trust and collaboration
  • Growth opportunities
  • How to navigate M&A
  • Using your voice and your power

Power Hours are announced in GlueUp.
